Vista - Internet explorer 8 beta Live seach being redirected .

Hi I have a problem regarding search engine,every time i put a new seach in
it will bring up the right listings but when i click on the right link it
gets redirected to another irrelevent page.Also when i try to link to windows
update it go's to google web page! I have windows Onecare running and it had
identified some virus's and eliminated them.I have gone back to IE7 and run
it with no add on's and still the same problem .any help really appreciated.
