Vista - The instruction at “0x73dd11c7� referenced memory at “0x00000004

I hope someone can help me. I was trying to open a program the other day on
my Gateway MX3702 with Windows XP Verison 5.1 Service Pack 3 laptop and I
keep getting the message (The instruction at “0x73dd11c7� referenced memory
at “0x00000004�. The memory could not be “ read�.) Please if someone can
help I would be extremely grateful. This is driving me nuts.
