Infinite Loop!

One of my relatives has a computer that boots up, goes straight to the
"installing updates" screen, and then restarts after installation. Upon
loading up again, it goes straight to the "installing updates" again, and
continues this loop over and over, never making it to the desktop. Im
wondering if a system restore disk would help, but they dont have one. What
should I do to help them?

Re: Infinite Loop!

Hi Randall,

You could see if this is of use

The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista

Hope it helps
