| Vista Home Premium | SQL Server Express 2008 & VS 2008 I recently upgraded to Vista Home Premium and I kind of like it. I had backed up using the Vista Backup/Restore facility to an external drive before I did the clean install. Now I am trying to locate my databases within the back up. Would anyone have any idea where these might be hiding? I looked into the "windows.old/program files/..." but found nothing. Thanks fellow forumers.. |

| | Re: SQL Server Express 2008 & VS 2008 I think youre trying to find: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.X\MSSQL\Data Note, the X is a number (as in MSSQL.X), like 1 or 2 or 3, depending on how many instances you had installed.
