Vista - E-mail and Internet Errrors - Windows XP SP3

When I open Incredimail or Outlook Express, the bottom part of the screen
goes blank where it should have message preview. In Incredimail, when I try
to open a message, I get the following error message: Exception:
ACCESS_VIOLATION (C0000005) - on reading from 00000000
Faulting Offset: 000A893A
Module: MFC80U.DLL
In Outlook Express, I get one of the following error messages: "All or part
of this message could not be downloaded." or "there was an error opening
this message. There is not enough memory."
Also, when I open my Search window, it is blank.
I can't download any fixes because, in Firefox, it appears the file is being
downloaded, but in my Downloads window it says the download was blocked by my
Security Zone Settings. In Internet Explorer, when it tries to download a
web page, I get a message that my current security settings do not allow the
file to be downloaded. I hadn't changed my security settings but I restored
default settings, which didn't help.
Can anybody help me?
