Hi, I'm after some help with windows defender. When I turn on my computer I
receive this error message ' windows defender failed to intialize,
0x800106ba' I receive this everytime I turn on my computer and when I try to
open up windows defender. I can't uninstall it as I doesn't sure up on the
'add/remove programs'.

I have vista on my laptop!

Please help!

I guess you should redirect this question to Vista forum. I am not sure what

thanks Mahmoud Ghoz l, I tried the 'solutions' with no luck, they are
suggesting I uninstall defender on 'add/remove programs' but I can't do this
as defender isn't listed as a program to add/remove. Any other suggestions?!!
I will try to direct this question to Vista forum and see if anyone has any
bright ideas!!!
