Moving Office Files to a New Computer

Hello to Everyone: I purchased a new computer and would like to know the
correct way to move my current XP 2003 Office files to my new computer with
XP and Office 2003.I was told if I do this the wrong way the files will
become read only.What is the correct way to move the rest my files also. I
hope I posted in the right area. Thanks...Joe

You need to post to ms.public.windows.xp.general or to one of the MS
Office forums at MSnews.Microsoft.com, as this is a .Net programmer's
forum you are posting to at this time.
