IE8

I have Windows XP Pro and I had IE7 for my browser. I also had Mozilla that I
had to use just a couple of times. My Yahoo homepage suggested I download the
new IE8 for faster download times and ease of use. I did and since then I
have had nothing but trouble. Every time I click on something to go to a
site, it now takes 12 to 15 seconds to go there where with the IE7 it was
about 2 seconds. It doesn't show the connecting icon to tell me it's trying
to connect, so I don't know what it's doing. It freezes up on me every few
minutes and won't let me do anything. As of yet, I can't figure a way to get
rid of it and go back to IE7 either. When I've tried, it has told me I have
the new version IE8 and won't accept the IE7 version. Has anyone else had
this problem and know how to resolve it?
