Econo-JIT

I am working on some performance details for an application. One of the
target systems is a resource bound system, with fixed RAM and limited CPU.

I have seen a few references to "Econo-JIT" but cannot find any other
details regarding how to enable this "feature" or if it exists in .NET 2.0.

FWIW, I have investigated NGEN, and due to the complexity that would be
introduced into our installation procedure, it does not seem like a viable
option at this time.

So, how/where do I enable "Econo-Jit" if the feature truly exists?

Thanks.
