replace AD accounts to be emplyees numbers

Hi Everybody,

we are planning to replace AD accounts logon name in our organization from
(Firstname.Lastname) to be Emplyees Badge Numbers(4 Digits).

Could you please help me what is the impact in this case on our environment
and what are the creiteria's have to consider it during the replacment?

our environmet windows server 2003 standard edition service pack 2
we have 4 domain controllers, all of them global catalog.
our users around 700 users.

We need to get you to a correct discussion group for your question. This is

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Servers.
In Servers, find and open the category for Windows Server.
In that category, find a group to post in.
