| | Installation of "Advanced Server" image from MSDN downloads Hi, I have downloaded the Windows Advanced Server ISO image from MSDN. The file name is en_win_adv_svr_1.2.iso and it passes the SHA1 check. The ISO file doesn't appear to be bootable. I tried mounting the ISO under Virtual PC 2007, burned it (Nero) and tried booting on 2 different systems to no avail. The I386 folder doesn't contain the files mentioned in the documentation that's on the CD. In fact every single file in I386 is compressed. Running setup.exe from Windows XP Pro results in a "not a valid win32 application" error message. Is there someone that has managed to get this Advanced Server ISO working? And if yes, how? Regards, Dirk Louwers |
