virtual memory

I had some trouble with my pc which has now been fixed. My virtual memory
had always been fine but now my system says that I have 0 virtual memory. My
virtual memory is set to the recommended 1.5 times RAM, I've tried the disk
cleaner and the defragmenter, and I've restarted but it hasn't helped. How
do I empty out whatever is in the virtual memory so that I can my system back
on track?

Perhaps if you were to tell us what version of Windows you are running, and
the total amount of free space there is on the drive selected for virtual
memory?
Once you are ready to provide details, please consider posting is a
discussion group applicable to your Windows question. This is a .NET
programming group.

To find an appropriate Windows discussion group:

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Windows.
In Windows, find and open the category for your version of Windows.
In that category, find a group to post in.
