CMS 2002 Question

Hello,

I have a CMS 2002 question and I wondered if this is the correct place to
ask it.

I have been asked to implement Google Analytics on an application I know
virtually nothing about so apologies if this question seems a bit vague.

I need to add some script to the site in the head tag. I have managed to
manually edit an XMLTemplate file to include the script at the bottom of the
page but I have been advised for CMS it should be included in the HEAD tag.

The problem I have is that none of the XML templates and matching XSLT files
make any reference to placing things in the HEAD tag so I have nothing to
copy off.

Because I know very little about CMS I am unsure how this XML template files
and XSL files are generated and how I would go about putting in extra stuff.

It would appear they work on the basis of putting html into place holders of
some description but I am unsure if there are any existing place holders for
the head tag and how to go about putting anything inside them.

Sorry for the lack of understanding but this has been dumped on me.

If this is not the right place could anyone suggest where is?

Thanks
