Vista - The .NET Framework: More Popular than Ever?

A worldwide survey was recently done to look into the use of .NET in
application development. The results are in, and they show that .NET
is more popular than ever. A growing number of companies are getting
on board. In fact, over 50% of respondents said that they are working
in companies with a medium or large population of .NET developers, and
project teams have grown in size over past years. The survey also
looked at the growth of newer versions of .NET and Visual Studio. This
year, VS2008 was released; there has been an expected shift away from
VS2003 and 2005. The use of .NET 3.5 is also growing, as
expected. .NET 3.0 is less used; most developers moved directly
to .NET 3.5.

There is an expected correlation between the use of .NET and other
Microsoft products. Developers working in .NET are more likely to be
using a Microsoft IDE, language and database. But what about the new

I can't even properly update my .net
I even uninstalled it and tried to put all versions in but no help.
