| | Downloads I used to download pages from Ancestry.com with ease but now that I have Vista the downloads I am told have been put in Documents but they aren't there. I suspect my security settings are to blame. Would be grateful for any advice. -- Max in Dorset |

Even a board on Ancestry.com may be of help, such as http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.so...emaker/mb.ashx, if you are downloading from family tree maker. Probably, the files are in the folder <user>\downloads. To find this, usually you can double click the computer icon on your desktop, and a shortcut to "Downloads" will be listed on the left side.
