| Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1 x86 | HELP please!!!! Right, my mother installed windows updates last week and she is not the administrator (I thought this might of been something to do with it) and now I cannot log on to my account: The user profile failed the logon, user profile cannot be loaded. I have looked at the ways of getting rid of this and have tryed them all, when trying to fix it by renaming them files with the .bak it wont let me do it so i try to take ownership of the files and it wont let me do that either!!! I am the administrator so whenever i try to do something it asks for my password and i give it but it doesnt go on to the thing i wanted, i click on it again and it asks for the password again and so on. What should i do ive had a week of trying to fix this problem!!! ![]() |

| | Re: HELP please!!!! well, you can start by asking in a group that might know something about windows update on the operating system you are using. or call microsoft support, or your local geek squad, or ask the kid next door... they are all likely to get you some kind of answer better than a dotnet group will give you.
