Vista - "quick add"

can anyone tell me how to remove the "quick add" window from my email. If I
try to "forward" or write "new" email. tihs window opens and shrinks th area
that I have to use for my work. I am using windows xp media center and outook
express
as well as windows Live, any help will be appreciated
