| | Font Linking and scaling factors I need a little help deciphering the meaning of some material on a page about globalization. The page is: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb688134.aspx I refer to the text below Figure 1: "Scaling factors are specified as a pair of positive integers. For instance, the value 'MEIRYO.TTC,Meiryo,128,85' indicates that the scaling algorithm should apply the scaling factors 128 and 85 whenever the given base font is linked to the Meiryo font." I feel like some information is missing. It does not quite explain what the scaling algorithm uses with the 128 and 85 when linking. I would greatly appreciate some clarity on this.
