Cant Stop Bing Search pages, Please help and save my sanity

Everytime I close a browser window with the 'X' I get a 'Close all tabs,
close current tab' boxes. then when I have decided which and it closes it
goes to a 'Bing search window. This is very irritating as I get it after
every window I close. How do I turn this off>
