Vista - windows cannot find c\documents and settings...etc...

Can anyone help me? When I try to open my pictures with any other photo
software besides Paint, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and Microsoft Office
Picture Manager I get the error msg 'windows cannot find c\documents and
settings\owner.. (etc the path to the picture). it worked just fine until
last week, I don't know what changed. One friend told me to basically back
everything up & go back to scratch with the original disks and reload
everything. I'd really like to avoid that whole hassle. Any ideas anyone?

You should try asking this question in a group such as
microsoft.public.windowsxp.photos. While someone reading this group may
have seen your issue, this group is for questions developing software
with the dotnet framework.
