Windows Communication Foundation - vb.net

I have been teaching myself vb.net for a bit now, and would like to start
teaching myself some wcf with it.

Could someone suggest some books with good tutorials ? or some good online
tutorials?

Thanks

Miro

Re: Windows Communication Foundation - vb.net

If you send me an email, off-line (see my homepage for contact info), I'll
send you a "get started" tutorial that I have written. It is a little
different than some others, and includes, I hope, the details needed to
introduce you to using WCF with both Windows Forms and ASPx, Web
applications.

Re: Windows Communication Foundation - vb.net

Thanks,

I will.

One side question...
If writing a .net app from scratch...is it customary to create it using wcf?
Or does wcf add more overhead for programming and other things and it should
only be used
when required?
