Windows XP updates has downloaded the following:



Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3
(KB928367)

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1

But they will not install (all other updates install with no problems).

I have also downloaded them from the Microsoft website separately but they
still will not install, it just keeps coming up with a small window which
says:

"SL13.tmp- Common Language Runtime Debugging Services"
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled
Process id=0xaa8 (2728) Thread id=0x438 (1080)
Click ok to terminate application
Click cancel to debug application

I click ok to terminate application and it cancels the installation, as I
am not sure about the debugging, please can anyone advise me how I can get
these updates installed as it says they are priority.

Get your issues with Windows Update addressed by posting in the discussion
group for Windows Update. This is a .NET programming group. Here's how to
find the Windows Update group.

As you appear to be using a web interface, visit this page:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

In the tree on the left, open English, then open Windows. In the
Windows subcategory, find Windows Update and post your question there.
