| | Error deleting file or folder icons from desktop I have three icons on my desk top I can not remove. they have no extension. I can't rename, add an extension, or even list proporties. I aways get the error message "Can't read from the source file or disk". I have searched my computer and support diskets of program and drivers I've installed and didn't make a name match. They are file icons and not shortcuts. I assume because they have not extention my computer doesn't know how to read so it also shows O bytes. I can't open them with any program on my computer. they are; CARMOV79 CAEX4RS1 CAMF45Y3 -- Thanks lots and take care, David P |
