Desktop to desktop network problem

I have 2 desktops, both running Vista home premium edition connected via ethernet through a router. Internet working properly on both. Computer #1 can see and access computer #2 shared folders. Computer #2 can see but not access computer #1 shared folders. Any suggestions? File sharing is enabled on both.
