Using DOS to connect to a shared folder

I'm trying to access ghost.exe which I have copeid to shared folder C:\Ghost on Vista Home Basic, using a network drive mapping DOS boot disk.
The boot disk is obtainable free to download at Universal TCP/IP Network Bootdisk for M$ Networks.
I have correctly configured the IP addresses in the config file on the boot disk, and configured net use G: \\vistab\ghost as the drive to be mapped.
I have shared the c:\ghost folder for Everyone group full control and also added Everyone group to security permissions full control.
Each time I try to access the folder from the dos prompt run from the floppy boot disk I get 'Error 5 - Access Denied'.
I can ping vistab from dos and recieve a reply, and vice versa.
I turned off Windows Firewall and turned off Password Protected folder sharing.
Still can't get it to work.
Has anyone had any experience with this please?
