Problems with Netgear WN121T

So I have my desktop hooked up to the WN121T, which is a USB wireless adapter, and my relationship with the thing is love/hate. Sometimes it's fine. But a lot of the time, it just cannot find my network, despite the fact that other computers can get on the network. And I doubt it's a range thing, since when my desktop is online, the signal is pretty good. I have the latest drivers installed, and my router is a Netgear WNR834B. Does anyone have any fixes to share or any ideas?

Re: Problems with Netgear WN121T

Wow - that is one heck of a long time to have issues. I apologize on behalf of everyone here in that no one answered your post - you made it before I joined,so that's *my* excuse....

Are you positive you're using the latest drivers? Have you tried using a different USB port? Is your PSU adequate for your system specs? Would you mind updating your system specs in your UserCP so we can verify that?

Re: Problems with Netgear WN121T

I updated my system specs. I am running the latest drivers for the device, which as far as I can tell is the 5.2 version found on Netgear's site here: WN121T Support Page

Every time this computer crashes, it displays the message "driver_irql_not_less_than_or_equal," or something like that, and the problem is with something like nwifi.sys.

Oh, and I've tried around six different USB ports that work fine for webcams and external drives and stuff like that.
