Can't internet time sync

I did do searches on this, and I have tried a wide range of url's and none of them work, I always get the same error, I tried that dos promt that I found.

I think it has to do with the BIOs, and let me tell you why.

I decided to put on a new thermal paste on my cpu because I was having overheating issues, and I had to remove the entire mobo to get the heatsink thingy on the bottom. so I could of nicked something or forgot to plug something back in. Here is the reason I think it's the bios. When I booted up, I would automatically go tot he bios with a error saying Chassis opened or tempered with. The only way for me to get past that was to pull the reset pin thingy for the cmos, and I would get into windows once, and even then when I would reboot the error came back, I found out how to fix the error by disabling the open case warning in the BIOs. But ever since I booted up after doing the heatsink and paste thing, weird crap is not working. I can't sync the time, can't play games that require the time to be synced which is very annoying, can't log into msn messenger, can log into aim, but if I try to start a convo it crashes. meebo works fine for me. Security settings on fire fox keep reseting, and I keep having to accept security certificates from google.

Could the battery need replacing?

ok, I found the guide you guys had on here, and found a 3rd party program linked in the comments at the bottom, and that fixed the game, time, msn and aim problems.
