| Weird thing when i'm booting and load my network computer drive Hi, Sorry for my bad english but I will try to to my best. I have another computer that have a shared drive for my multimedia file (like my mp3 and my movie) and in Vista, i have enable a drive (R:\) that connect to my PC \\PC\Multimedia But the problem is when i'm booting in vista, my computer tell me that he cannot connect all the network drive... but I can go in the folder and play my mp3 It's like Vista try to connect my network drive before that my wireless connection is enable. what can i do? |

Location: Paris | Re: Weird thing when i'm booting and load my network computer drive Yes, Vista tries to reconnect before the wireless connection is effective and therefore you receive a warning message at logon. It doesn't affect the mapping as Vista tries and tries until it gets the connection. To avoid the "message", you can write a small batch file (net use) and add it in the user group policy or ask to logon when the network connection is established. Personally i don't see the real interest except loosing time when booting. |
