windows explorer stops working while connecting to a network.

Nice to meet u all! I am using vista home premium and when i right click on the wireless internet thing (the two computers with the red "x" or w/e) and click on "connect to a network" i get this windows explorer stopped working error... and when i try to click on "start" and then "connect to" it says that rundll32 has stopped working error... this is really frustrating... please help me!

That sounds like you have some Windows issues - have you run any sort of diagnostics on your computer, or checked for any malware?

when i used the diagnostics it said i got a memory problem... for malware i used something called hijackthis... this is what i got on the log...

None that I can tell - but I am not an 'expert' in the sense that some things there could be malicious and masquerading as non-malicious files - they all look (superficially) benign to me.

If you have a memory problem you need to fix that first before you try anything else - without good hardware you cannot have a good computing experience.
