| Will not accept passprhase to network I have a new Inspiron 1525 and am able to see my wirless network in Vista, which is 128 bit WEP encrypted (I know it is not the greatest). When I go to enter the passprhase it does not accept it. Would anyone know the reason for this? I know it is the correct passphrase because I changed it recently and it is working on another computer I have connected to the wirless network. Any suggestions are appreciated. |

Open Event Viewer from the start-menu searchbox, then goto Applications and Services > Microsoft > Windows > Wlan Autoconfig > Operational and paste all the reports here and we can give you the exact cause and solution. | Re: Will not accept passprhase to network The only way the passphrase will work is when you use the same manufacturers equipment for the router and the wireless card. Sometimes even that is not enough. You have to use the actual numbers and letters of the passWORD that the passphrase represents in most cases. |
