Is Lan to Lan VPN possible?

I am using vista ultimate 64-bit and have a server 2003 machine on the network and would like to VPN to the server without having to connect to the internet.

Any suggestions?

Re: Is Lan to Lan VPN possible?

remote desktop. That is what I use on my network to get into all the servers. I block the ports on the external side of the Cisco firewall. If I am at home, I use Cisco VPN to get through the firewall and remote desktop into the box. From my desk, remote desktop directly to it. You have to be on the network to not use the internet. I would recommend a secured VPN from the internet.
