| Newbie | Latency problem with Router No matter what I do I can not get this (Auto Tuning - TCP/IP receive level) to stay working I've tried everything I can think of in every setting and I know it's not my router cause it only does this with vista. It will stay at a normal latency for less than 10 minutes before it goes back to its default and makes anything with a ping go over 1000 which makes in impossible to talk or play any games online. Any advice? |

| Newbie | Re: Latency problem with Router Also, depending on which games you are playing, this may be a problem with Punkbuster software. I've seen (and experienced) a 999 ping, and it is all from a bad PunkBuster install. So if the games you are referring to use PunkBuster, that may be the culprit. Only fix: Uninstall, remove PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB from memory via Task manager, and reinstall. |
