Internet is very slow problem

Something is wrong with my internet. Yesterday, my internet was working fine. Today, browsing is very slow and videos won't load. I rebooted my computer and restarted my modem. My ISP is Comcast High Speed Internet. My download and upload speed is very slow too. Is it possible someone could be pinging my ip address? I've noticed, when loading youtube videos, on the bottom left corner, there is an IP address. That ip address has changed, it would normally be 7x xxx xxx but now its 218 xxx xxx, an entire new IP. Can someone please help me?

Call your ISP first to make sure they are not having issues. Comcast could be the problem.

Good idea. My internet is working perfectly now. I had to unplug my modem, wait 30 seconds, and then do the same for the router afterwards. Thanks.

Did you call them? Usually, that it on their end.

Yep, I called them earlier, they told me to disconnect the modem and the router and reconnect them after 30 seconds which I did. After a few hours, I'm getting the same problem again.

Do it again. My office in NewBuryPort was having similar issues with ComCrap today.

Drop ComCrap. I have Wide Open West and don't have those problems. FiOS is supposed to be incredible on the East Coast.

I've never had this problem up until today and I want to fix it, I don't want to switch ISP's.
