| Member ![]() Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Folder Shared,but cannot access also, make sure that instead of just sharing and setting the permissions correctly, you add the correct user (for me it's "everyone", but then the dutch translation of that) in the security tab. I had everything done right, I thought, and still couldn't share, until I figured out that that was also needed.... |

If you need to share only with a particular user, then you'll need to set up permissions for that username and password to access it. Also, Vista shows partitions in Explorer as disks, unless you have the partition hidden / not assigned a drive letter. If it is hidden / not assigned a drive letter, you cannot share it. |
