TP-LINK WN851n drivers for X64 vista?

Hey guys,

I just bought this wireless card. It operates in 802.11n mode, so it's relatively new, but there are no drivers for it for Vista X64. I tried downloading driver from TP-Link's website, which states that the drivers should work on vista too. Unfortunately they don't.

The installation program tells me that on 64bit OS, drivers will work but wireless utilities won't. However, neither of these work.

Do you have any solution for me? Perhaps some 3rd party drivers? It is Atheros chipset inside this card.

Thanks in advance!

Had the same problem and was able to get the crappy card working wen i install it prior to any antivirus or firewall installation i have win 7 64bit and using zonealarm which rocks but i could never get anything working if i didnt install network card prior to any other software or drivers-from clean install

supremely annoying i know but another thing too keep in mind and its a possibility in my case there are 2 versions of the the same driver and you need to install the correct one-i tryed every single one lol and perhaps i broke me card in the process cuz am having the same prob today after a clean install lol yet again the saga begins
