| Vista Home Premium 32bit | DNS Error Well, I wasn't sure what forum to put this in, but here it goes. Well, recently, I believe just today, I haven't been able to really access any "z7/s9" forums. I'm not EXACTLY sure why, but I'm guessing it has to do with some type of DNS error. All other websites work fine, just not these kind of forums. I believe forums with a proper URL [Such as ones without the kind of board name in the URL, like without a ".invisionfree" or ".zetaboards"] actually work. It only seems to be the forums WITH the ".invisionfree"/".zetaboards" type URLs that are giving me problems. Do you guys have any solutions? I've ran my anti-virus, and it didn't really do anything in that specific area. What would you guys recommend for me to do? |

| windows vista ultimate | Re: DNS Error hi TDL, this could be due to various resons, 1 could be that ur internet expolrer settings that are blocking these web site, it also could be that the site that ur reffering to can be down. To check this try to access the sites from another computer. also try accessing the sites from a diffrent browser. Make sure your activex controls are not set to disabled and set to prompt. Hope this helps Cheers !! |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: DNS Error IOW, it *is* a DNS error - the DNS servers have nowhere to redirect the queries to because the data center is offline.... Just goes to show you - just because you cannot access something doesn't always mean it is your computer's fault. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: DNS Error Well it mysteriously started working again the day after. I do believe it had to do something with the server, not my computer. But thanks for the help anyways, guys. |
