| Vista Ultimate x64 | SFC on Vista DVD Right now I'm in the process of running SFC checker on the Vista DVD since I cannot extract the necessary file I need off the DVD using other measures. When I boot the DVD and open the command prompt, I typed "sfc /scannow". It then said the process would start and came up with the error: "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation." If someone could help me get past this problem so that I can run SFC, that would be wonderful. |

| Vista™ Ultimate x64 | Re: SFC on Vista DVD I don't think it's possible to do a SFC on a CD, you need an OS to execute it. |
