I'm using a Visa home Premium on my Sony Vaio which is connected to a Wifi connection. I setup a home network using a ethernet cable to another laptop, but unable to receive internet signal on the 2nd computer. On the Access showing: Ipv4 local and Ipv6 limited

please help!

Am I to understand that you are recieving Wifi on your vaio and have physically connected your 2nd laptop via an ethernet cable? If so, ICS (internet connection sharing) needs to be enabled on your vaio.

Navigate to your network connections, select your wifi connection on your vaio, right click on properties and click on the sharing tab and select the

"Allow other users to connect through this internect connection" check box.

Should start working instantly, but a restart of both may be necessary.

Hope that helps
