| Windows 7 RC x64 Vista HP x86 | Re: 28,000 kbs on wireless? dont see the confusion your d/l speed is 30Mb/s approx your wireless speed should be about 4 times that on an N clas router ie 108mb/s even a g class router will give a max of 54Mb/sunless i'm missing something ![]() your DSL speed is set by the modem and the account you have with the ISP not the router Update just seen sales info for a D-Link Wireless 'N' Starter Kit N Router & USB Adapter Bundle which states speeds of 300Mb/s of course these speeds are maximums achivable under ideal conditions Last edited by barman58; 09-05-2008 at 08:45 PM.. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Re: 28,000 kbs on wireless? yea i just didnt think those speeds were possible. I was amazed. And 30Mb is just about the max i can achieve so i flipped when i saw i was able to get about exact results without an ethernet cable thats all. |

| Windows 7 RC x64 Vista HP x86 | Re: 28,000 kbs on wireless? Yes, Isn't technology wonderful, must admit to being a little envious of your speed, am running on 2Mb/s although compared to the 9600 Kb/s dial-up I started with many years ago can't complain |
