Unidentified Network Issue

Hey,
Had this problem for a couple of weeks now, My internet was working through ethernet and 1 night my brother was internet gaming and I had a couple of torrents downloading when the internet stopped and when we looked at it, Vista wouldn't recognise the network. It names the network as 'Unidentified Network' and I can't connect to the internet. I have since purchased a Belkin wireless G Adapter and that connects to the same router with ease. I have been on the phone to Sky who have been through everything with me and have confirmed that it's Vista at fault. This is the only issue I have ever had with Vista 64 bit, it has never let me down, but this is an issue I could do with resolving, cos the ping we get over wireless isn't good enough for internet gaming. I have refreshed/released/renewed IP and still there is nothing.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Cheers
ED
