| Vista Ultimate x64 sp2 | Does this exist? Where to begin? I have a D-link wireless router that works perfectly. I have a laptop and xbox connected wireless and my main desktop connected via ethernet. I'd like to connect the desktop wirelessly too without changing out the wired nic. Is there any such adaptor that plugs into the ethernet connection of my card and connects to my wireless router? The desktop card is a Intel one and it's worked so great with zero problems that i'd hate to replace it already. As i don't have many spare usb connections i was looking for something that connects via ethernet. Is there such a beast? |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Does this exist? Yes, there is - I use one. You need a ethernet to wireless adapter such as this one PurelyGadgets.co.uk - Network Equipment - D-Link DWL-G810 802.11g Ethernet to Wireless LAN Client Adapter That one is quite expensive, you can find cheaper ones. Mine is this Buffalo one Buffalo Technology - Products - Wireless-G MIMO Performance* Ethernet Converter It works flawlessly but you have to remember that you will need another power outlet as these units are powered by their own power-supply.
