Remove or re-login to network server (Samba)

I've searched everywhere. This is not an issue of removing a mapped drive.

I'm logging into a file server running Samba. The computer logs in successfully with a user name and password.

I can't seem to remove this. Now it automatically is connected even after restarting Vista. I wish to change this user login info and can not. It's not a mapped drive so all the "NET USE * /d" does not good since there's no drives mapped. But yet I can click on Network, locate the server and access all the files without having to login again. But I can't seem to figure out how to remove this login so that it will request a user name and password each time so that different users can login from this computer accessing different protected directories on this file server...

any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

cheers
