New computer, a lenova, I can't connect to any unsecured network via wireless anywhere. I did nothing to this computer out of the box. I can see the wireless networks in access connections but when i try to connect I get failed association for unknown reason. Did some looking around and saw some things about editing the registry. Did not try that. Seems like a brand new computer would not have this problem.

Vista Home Premium. I am able to connect to the internet via a lan with a wire but wireless is not working...

Thanks for any help.

Trying to get the wireless to work can be problematic.
Are you inputing the correct wireless key for the router? To do this check out the wirless key on the router first then copy and paste it when asked for the key when trying to connect to your router.

Also check the Wireless interface type 802.11 b/g/n which type and make sure they are the same.
