| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Please help! Internet? Hi guys! One of my friends got a new Vista laptop and is so excited about it, but there is only one problem, she doesn't have an ISP. She has no phone or tv and I can't think of one to suggest to her. What ISPs do you think are good? She lives in New York City, Flushing. Thanks in advance! |

Can't help with recommending any as I live on the other side of the pond but if she doesn't have a phone line has she looked into using mobile Internet. I don't know what the situation is like over there but here a few of the mobile phone carriers also do mobile Internet, you get a dongle that plugs into the laptop and pay a fee per month and are allowed so much bandwidth. |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Please help! Internet? Comcast Broadband, I am paying 36 a month for a 6 Mb connection. At&T has what they call Lite DSL, I think is somewhere around 768 or less for about 20 bucks but I don't know if they will require a land line as well. |
