| Vista home premium 32bit | Network Discovery Not Working hi, I have windows vista home premium 32bit. I am having this problem with the network discovery not being able to turn on. The network icon on the bottom left of the screen has a red cross on it and when pointer hovers above it and says: Connection service: unknown The service to detect this status is turned off. These services are started:- DNS Client, Function Discovery Resource Publication, SSDP Discovery, and UPnP Device Host service. When i open Network and Sharing Center and turn on the Network Discovery this is displayed: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. The Workgroup is PRIVATE. Any help will be appreciated!! Last edited by hval007; 04-17-2009 at 03:21 AM.. |
