| visa 32 bit | i need help - my home network i have a two desktop computer and i want to share both computer harddrive how do i do? i have already speed good time figuring out and no luck and i'm using AVG software for my AntiVirus I'm using VISTA 32 bit OS i have computerA and computerB, i want computerA to see computerB and vice versa. i have a wireless router computerA is hooked through the dsl cable wire (directly) comupterB is a wireless connected if i clicked: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\View full map than i can see my computerA and computerB and when i try to click on compuerB (from computerA) than nothing happens. i have the same name (WORKGROUP) on both computers also the below services automatically started. --SSDP Discovery --TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper --Computer Browser --Server what else is going on ? thanks. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit SP2 | Re: i need help - my home network so were assuming you have filesharing/public folder sharing/media sharing switched on via network and sharing center? and you have configured your firewall to a "networked" computer too? You still wont be able to access the entire hard drive though you do realise that too , just the public stuff , although i think you can alter this through the permissions settings of the folders themselves |
