Vista - Wireless HELP

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Recently purchased Toshiba laptop with Vista Home Premium. Attempting access to wireless router at home and can do no better then connected with limited access which gives me no internet access........Please help!!!!!!

harleymantx, welcome to the forums. Believe me, I know and perfectly understand how frustating it is to have an issue with your computer and you want/need help quick. The problem is though, that by you NOT giving us all the info we require, we can't really help you right away and it is also frustating for us.

For instance, posting up your notebook specs help a lot because , even if you don't tell us, it gives us something to work with by looking up the brands/models of your hardware.

Then, by you taking the time to give us the blow by blow of the situation, it gives us a better perspective of the problem... example: Have you upgraded your wireless card to the latest firmware or driver? Are you running the Toshiba Wireless Configuration or the Windows Zero Configuration. Have you make a wireless profile with SSID/Login/Password yet or is your router not encrypted?

These folks here are a great bunch of folks but they are not Miracle Workers
