Disable Proxy Settings

Hello,

I've tried searching for a way to disable proxy settings all together from internet explorer and I'm not able to find a solution.
Is there a way to do it through registry in a way where the user isn't able to even select the "check box" anymore?

I know the old way of unchecking the box, but the user will always go back and check it and type in the proxy server and port. Is there a way to disable it completely?

is this any help?

How to disable automatic proxy caching in Internet Explorer

You can disable the Automatic Proxy Result Cache by using the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Value: EnableAutoproxyResultCache
Type: REG_DWORD
Data value: 0 = disable caching; 1 (or key not present) = enable automatic proxy caching (this is the default behavior)
If the registry key is not present, you can create the registry key by using the following registry file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]"EnableAutoProxyResultCache"=dword:00000000"
