computer take over

Hello, i think or know someone has taken over my computer, i tried to watch some video clip's with our grandson about nature ect. then they said that my browser was old outdated and not located in the united state's ? Were using Verizon d.s.l. very slow connection Vista Pre. 32 bit. have tried running everything was thinking it's the conflicker worm by reading ect. Can anyone help please ? Thank's

I would suggest opening this with another PC that is not infected...

Good Luck. If you don't know your way around computers, I would suggest talking to a friend who does or taking it to an established shop before you attempt this... it may cost you a lot more in the long run.

AstaLaVista, Thank you for the help i don't have another puter on line yet, we have 2 others and brought a wireless router from Verizon but can't get it to work, called verizon & they want me to let them in our computer's to get it working but i dont like doing that, so for now i have to use this one i guess, ok thanks i'll let you know later this eveing, Jay
