Search Engines

I had Google as my Search Engine. Reset my computer and wound up with someting called "Bing" by MSN. How can I get rid of it and back to where I was? Hate it when these systems change things. What I DON"T know about computers would fill a swimming pool.

Re: Search Engines

On second reading, I think this might be what you want.

Internet Explorer Search Box

Name: g provider.JPG
Views: 66
Size: 12.6 KB

If it is, then click the arrow next to the maginfing glass --> click "manager search providers"

prov.jpg

Then highlight google --> then click set as default in the bottom corner

Re: Search Engines

Thanks for your response but neither has worked. With the tool bar drop down, the Links, Status and MSN Toolbar are checked. Google Toolbar is listed but when I check it nothing happens.

The MSN Toolbar has an error and I am unable to fix it.

Re: Search Engines

I did get rid of BING and MSM toolbar. Google is listed as a toolbar but I am unable to get it to show up after I click on it. I have an old laptop and I am able to switch in and out of the Google toolbar, no problem but that is XP not Vista. Damn I hate Vista.
